Cathy Sophia Foskey

Funeral services for Cathy Sophia Foskey, age 60, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the Wrightsville Church of the Nazarene with interment to follow at Foskey Cemetery.

Mrs. Foskey was born on December 21, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Robert and Katie Mae Foskey McPhederain. She was a member of Wrightsville Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Foskey worked hard all her life including 17 years at Mohawk Industries as a fixer. She was an honor graduate and received her Radiologic Tech degree with mammographic modality training. She was proud of her educational achievements, maintaining a 4.0 GPA and she always wanted to help others with their own educational goals while serving as a tutor at Oconee Fall Line Technical College. She loved her boys and her grandkids. She enjoyed working in the yard whether it was cleaning, gardening, or flowers. Mrs. Foskey passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at her residence.

She is survived by her sons, Benjamin Lacey Joiner, Daniel Scott Joiner (Deanne Douglas), Jesse Dean Foskey (Donna McSpadden) and Wesley Kyle Foskey (Tiffany Farthing) all of Adrian, and 5 grandchildren, Catilyn Joiner, Sarah Joiner, Austin Joiner, Logan Joiner and Bailey Joiner.

Pallbearers will be Ben Joiner, Daniel Joiner, Jesse Foskey, Wes Foskey, Blake Stockholm, and Cliff Coleman.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. on Wednesday at the Wrightsville Church of the Nazarene.
