Charlene George

Graveside funeral services for Charlene George, age 86 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia. Rev. Curtis Sumner will officiate.

Mrs. George was born July 28,1939 in Columbus, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Andy Brown and Juanita Howard Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Theron Luther George. She retired from the Secretary of State Licensing Board. Mrs. George passed away Friday, January 9, 2026, at her residence.

Mrs. George is survived by her 2 sons, Theron George (April) of East Dublin, and Timothy Bryant George (Christie) of McDonough; and 2 grandchildren, Cooper George and Lindsey George.
