Charles "Big Red" Luther Johnson

Graveside services for Charles "Big Red" Luther Johnson will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 1, 2021 in Union Grove Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Yeomans officiating. Mr. Johnson was born on July 9, 1938 in Sandersville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lucille Braswell Johnson, his wife, Patricia Bell Johnson, and his granddaughter, Carol Ann Johnson. He was a truck driver for Sammy Price Trucking. Mr. Johnson passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Augusta University Medical Center. He is survived by his sons, Allan (Linda) Johnson of Wrightsville, and Charles (Tiffany) Johnson of Adrian, daughter, Elaine Johnson of Thomson, sister, Faye Brantley of Wrightsville, grandchildren, Kailey Johnson, McKenzie Johnson, Cooper Johnson, Heather Walker, Jennifer Smith, Jessica Wilson, Charles Tuberville, William Turberville, Eric Turberville, and Joey Turberville, and 16 great grandchildren. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
