Charles Clayton Smith

Memorial Service for Mr. Charles Clayton Smith Sr., age 71 will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel. Mr. Smith was born August 13, 1947 in Marytown, West Virginia. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents Phillip Firth Smith and Helen Marjorie Van Otti. He was self-employed as a mechanic. Mr. Smith died December 31, 2018 in Cobbtown, Georgia. Mr. Smith is survived by his sons Charles Smith Jr. of Dry Branch, Philip Smith of Dublin, and Chad Smith of Burnettown, South Carolina, by daughters Michelle Barker of Cobbtown, Christina Smith of Lizella, and Charlene Smith of Pennsylvania, and by his sister, Marjorie Dussault of Maine. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
