Charles Neubern "Pete" Morgan

Graveside funeral services for Charles Neubern "Pete" Morgan, age 86, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, April 5, 2024, in Minter Cemetery.

Mr. Pete was born on August 13, 1937, in Orianna, Georgia. He graduated from Condor High School, East Dublin, Ga., in 1955. He was a musical and audio technician and started his career with Grizzard Piano and Grizzard Guitars. He later opened his own business known as Guitars Unlimited in East Dublin, Ga. Mr. Pete was also a very respected HAM (amateur) radio operator that was very well known among others all over the United States. He will be remembered as a soft spoken, kindhearted man. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Elizabeth Snow Morgan; his sister, Annie Lorene Morgan Winklemann and his brother, Jesse Theodore Morgan. Mr. Pete passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Fairview Park Hospital.

Survived by his nephews, Herb Winklemann, Jr. of Canandaigua, NY and Tom Winklemann of Springboro, OH; his niece, Betty Chaney of Dayton, OH, and his dearest friend Autrey Renfroe along with Mark and Latralle Graham of East Dublin.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Minter Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
