Chris Lenton Maddox

Mr. Chris Lenton Maddox of Dublin, Georgia entered the presence of God on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 after an extended illness. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Bluewater Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Nolon McDaniel will officiate and Rev. Gene Hemingway officiating at graveside. Chris was born on February 5, 1970 and spent most of his life in Laurens County. He was a friend to all and never met a stranger. He was a lover of animals. Chris was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Myrtle and Cleon Maddox, and his maternal grandparents Lenton and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Robinson, and step-grandfather Alton Dominy. Chris is survived by his parents Aaron and Elizabeth (Sissy) Maddox, uncle and aunt Ted and Loretta Jarriel, cousins Marie and Janet Jarriel, and other family members. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Robinson, Dewitt Moses, Steve Brown, Adam Hobbs, Blake Roberts and Beau Roberts. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
