Funeral services for Mr. Christopher Britt Johnson, age 49 will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Dublin Church of God, with interment to follow at Brewton Cemetery. Rev. Steve Hardeman and Mr. Thurmon Foskey will officiate. Mr. Johnson was born on September 24, 1965 in Dublin, Georgia. He was employed as a Commercial Pilot for Westmoreland, Patterson, Moseley, and Hinson, Law Firm. He was a member of Experimental Aircraft Association. He served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Johnson passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Tammy Johnson of East Dublin, his parents, Britt Johnson, Jr. and Alice Faye Johnson of Dublin, 3 daughters, Bridgette Johnson Graham of East Dublin, Amber L. Johnson of East Dublin, and Ashley D. Johnson of East Dublin, 2 sisters, Jennifer (Wade) Sharpe of Dublin, and Melissa F. Hughes of Panama City Beach, FL, a grandchild, Katherine Michelle Graham, 2 sisters-in-law, Terrie (Terry) Starley of East Dublin, and Tanya (Jason) Whittington of Dublin, a special aunt, Peggy Maddox of East Dublin, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David Scott, Austin Greenway, Michael Pope, Christopher Whittington, Roy Marcin, and Jeff Smith. Honorary Escorts will be Fred Houston, Kenny Martin, Bill Middlebrooks, Donnie Ray Johnson, and Richard Johnson.
