Clark Daymon Moore

Funeral services for Clark Daymon Moore, age 81 will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 3, 2016 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Northview Cemetery. Rev. Darren Talley and Rev. Jay Moore will officiate. Mr. Moore was born on June 13, 1935 in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Hammond and Lois Clark Moore. He is preceded in death by his brother, Wendell Moore, and a sister, Blondell Scoggins. He attended and graduated from Lowery School in the Lowery Community in Laurens County. He was a retired L.P.N. where he worked in in the Respiratory Department of the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, and also retired from Washington County Regional Hospital in Sandersville . He served in the United States Army. He was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church. Mr. Moore passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Serenity Place. Mr. Moore is survived by his loving wife, Marianne Funk Moore of Dublin, 2 daughters, Ramona Moore Kreft of Dublin, and Regina Moore (Pat) Hodges of Dublin, a brother, H.M. (JoAnn) Moore of Dublin, 3 sisters, Evelyn (Billy) Ussery of Dublin, Telva Chafin of Ringgold, and Polly Clark of Macon, a sister-in-law, Betty Moore of Dublin, 4 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tommy Hodges, Eric Hodges, Colby Manning, Mark Padgett, Brett Padgett, and David Peavy. The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. until 2:45 P.M. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel have charge of funeral arrangements.
