Connie King

Funeral services for Connie King, age 74 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 31, 2023 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Doug Eason will officiate.

Mrs. King was born October 13, 1948 in Daytona Beach, Florida. She was the daughter of the late John and Myrtice Emily Edmondson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard King, 2 brothers, Marvin Edmondson, and Jerrell Edmondson, and a sister, Barbara Edmondson Ward. She retired from ACS Cleaning Services. She was a member of the Dublin -Laurens County Pilot Club. Mrs. King passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at her residence.

Mrs. King is survived by her son, James Bartley (Jessica) King; a daughter, Tina Savage; a brother, Johnny (Karen) Edmondson, 7 grandchildren, Raymond Savage, Jr., Britny King, Callie (Wade) Warren, Colton (Stevi) Harrison, JB King, Braelyn Kight, and Jase Passmore, and 7 great- grandchildren, Hunter Savage, Destiny Savage, Britlyn Shiver, Avery Glover, Raylin Savage, Landon Warren, and Hank Glover.

Pallbearers will be Joel Prawucki, Eddie Norris, Paul Griggs, Larry Sumner, Ken Howard, and Greg Vines.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Friday, March 31, 2023, at the funeral home.
