Connie Deanne Mckenzie

Funeral services for Connie DeAnne McKenzie, age 61 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 13, 2024, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Bithynia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Emanuel County. Rev. Tommy Roe will officiate.

Mrs. McKenzie was born May 20, 1962, in Macon, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Franklin Kenneth Curry and Betty Annelle Wilson Curry. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents who raised her after mother's death, Ralph and Nell Wilson, and her paternal grandparents, Earl and Eloise Dominy Curry. She was a loving, kind, and nurturing wife, sister, mother, and friend. She had a great passion for making arts and crafts, fishing, working with her flowers, and spending time caring for her puppies. She was a member of Pine Forest Church where she served in the youth choir many years ago. Mrs. McKenzie passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at her home surrounded by her pets.

Mrs. McKenzie is survived by her husband, Robert "Bo" McKenzie of Dublin; a son, Thomas Alan Howard of PA; a sister, Christy Curry of Dublin; and 2 pet companions, Scarlett Rose, and Dante.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the funeral home.
