Connie Rose Thornton

Graveside services for Connie Rose Thornton, age 50, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. Mrs. Thornton was born in Metter, Georgia. She was a member of Tuckers Grove Church and was a schoolteacher at Wilkinson County Primary School. She was preceded in death by her father, Perry Dan Clements. She was a wonderful wife and mother and made a great impact on the community. Mrs. Thornton passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Fairview Park Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Jackie Thornton, two sons, Chandler Phillips and Chapman "Bubba" Phillips, mother, Rose Marie Waters, and sister, Bonnie Lynn Anderson. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
