Cory Foskey

Funeral services for Cortlan “Cory” Foskey, age 24, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 13, 2026, in the Richard N. Stanley Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Bay Springs Cemetery in Tennille, Georgia. Rev. Curtis Warnock will officiate.

Cory was born on February 11, 2002, in Sandersville, Georgia. He was a 2020 graduate of Johnson County High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Faye Foskey. Cory passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Fairview Park Hospital.

He is survived by his mother, Kelly Foskey; father, Mike Foskey; sister, Tailer Anslei Foskey (Gavin Herrin); brothers, Tyler Foskey, and Logan Foskey; grandmother, Mary Sellars; grandfather, Troy Foskey; and extended family members.

Pallbearers will be Gavin Herrin, Shawn Roberts, Treyton Copeland, Matt Cooper, Brintley Sellars, and Richard Cordry. Honorary pallbearers will be Levi Williams, Tony Sullens, and T.J. Braswell.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the funeral home.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of the funeral arrangements.
