Cynthia "Cindy" Mccoy Brantley

Cynthia "Cindy" McCoy Brantley, age 62, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 in Augusta University Medical Center. Mrs. Brantley was born on March 4, 1958 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Charlie William McCoy Jr. and the late Mary Houston Howell of Wrightsville. Mrs. Brantley is also preceded in death by a brother, Billy McCoy, and by two sisters, Diane Mimbs and Judy McCoy. Mrs. Brantley was a resident of Oconee for 47 years. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church and a member of the church Ladies Council. She retired after 30 years from the Washington County Board of Education. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Glynn Brantley of Oconee, her two sons, Mark Brantley of Oconee, and Luke Brantley and his wife Ashton of Dublin, her grandchildren, Tyler Brantley of Oconee, Ella Brantley of Dublin, and Karlayna Prevost of Sylvania, and her sisters, Jan McCoy (David) Norris of Ivey, and Kathy (Ricky) Wilkerson, and Shelby (Charles) Smith of Wrightsville. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Antioch Christian Church Ladies Council, P. O. Box 40, Oconee, GA 31067. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
