Funeral services for Dalphine Williamson Roberts, age 87 will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Northview Cemetery. Rev. Lewis Miller will officiate. Mrs. Roberts was born on October 18, 1927 in Tampa, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Allen and Mae Taylor Williamson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Roberts, Jr. She was a member of Poplar Springs South Baptist Church. She was a retired School Bus Driver for the Laurens County School System. Mrs. Roberts passed away on Monday, March 02, 2015 at Oconee Nursing Home. Mrs. Roberts is survived by her 3 daughters, Margie Ann (Lester) Godfrey of Oconee, Martha Ann (Farris) Tompkins of Oconee, and Mary Ann (Richard) Brannen of Ft. Smith, AR, a sister, Quinell Moorman of Dublin, 4 grandchildren, Josh Tompkins, Correll Godfrey, Jamie McAfee, and Kim Tyson, 3 great grandchildren, Conner Tyson, Christopher Tompkins, and Everett McAfee, and a nephew, Jody Williamson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jordan Couey, Wesley Couey, Cleon Couey, Daniel Holts, Correll Godfrey, and Josh Tompkins. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
