Daniel Jackson Cameron

Funeral services for Daniel Jackson Cameron, age 85, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 25, 2021, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Steve Hardeman. Private burial for family only will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Cameron was born on August 2, 1935, in Cadwell, Georgia. Daniel was a United States Air Force veteran and was a self-employed building contractor. He attended Dublin Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Eva Cameron. Mr. Cameron passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2021, at Fairview Park Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Jewel Cameron of Dublin, children, Daniel Jackson Cameron, Jr. (Jay) of Dexter, Wilbur Alton Cameron (Kristy) of Macon, Scott Joseph Cameron (Tasha) of Fairhope, AL, and Landon Jackson Cameron (Riley) of Dublin, Tami Lavon Cameron (Don) of Harrisburg, NC, Danny Kevin Durden of Wrightsville and Kandi Durden Tanner (Brent) of Dublin, grandchildren, Daniel, Shay, Shelly, Sara, SaVana, Olivia, Alisha, Scottlyn, Taylon, Liza, Catherine, Bryson, Nicholas and Maggie Bryn, and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
