Danny Moore

Funeral services for Mr. Danny Cecil Moore, age 64, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the Richard N. Stanley Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. John Rayburn, Rev. Donnie Daniel and Rev. John Livingston will officiate. Mr. Moore was born December 18, 1951 in Dublin, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Cecil & Estelle Outlaw Moore. He was a member of the Wrightsville First Assembly of God and was retired from Fred's Pest Control. Mr. Moore passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Moore of Wrightsville, a step-son, Stevie Loftin of Wadley, two brothers, Dennis Moore of Wrightsville and Victor Moore of Atlanta, three sisters, Brenda Wombles of Wrightsville, Cecilia Rayburn of Gainesville and Lisa Mimbs of Gainesville, four grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Adam Moore, Justin Moore, Shane Rayburn, Christopher Rayburn, Shawn Wombles, Chad Wombles Clay Mimbs and Jack Mimbs. Honorary escorts will include his grandchildren, great-nieces and great-nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks, that contributions, in memory of Danny, be made to Affinis Hospice, 806 Maple Drive, Vidalia, Georgia 30474 or to Wrightsville Assembly of God, 86 Lakeside Drive, Wrightsville, Georgia 31096. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
