Danny Lauren Snell

Funeral services for Danny Snell, age 62, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the First Assembly of God with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Sumner and Rev. Donnie Daniel will officiate. Danny was born December 1, 1953 in Wrightsville, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late W. C. (Samps) Snell and Annie Laura Foster Snell and four brothers, Beverley Snell, Paul Snell, Marvin Snell and Pete Snell. Danny spent most of his life in Wrightsville, GA until the death of his mother in 1993, then moved to Warner Robins, GA to live with his sister Helen, and brother in law J. S. Manning, and from there he was a resident of Happy Hour Resident Center in Warner Robins and since May 2015 until his death, he has been a resident of Elberta Nursing Home in Warner Robins, GA. He is survived by his two sisters, Geraldine Kitchens and Helen (J.S./John) Manning, two sisters-in-law, Kay Snell of Cumming and Idonia Snell of Wrightsville and several nieces and nephews. Danny really enjoyed his family get-togethers and aggravating his nephews and nieces. They, in return, loved aggravating and picking at him. Danny also loved gospel music and wrestling. Pallbearers will be Allen Kitchens, David Kitchens, Michael Kitchens, Jim Snell, Ken Snell, and Eric Snell. Stanley Funeral Home & Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
