Funeral services for Darra N. Judd, age 64 will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Jefferson Street Baptist Church Chapel, with interment to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Darren Talley will officiate. Mrs. Judd was born on March 15, 1950 in Dublin, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her 2 natural parents, Vernon and Marie Lumley, 2 brothers, Douglas Lumley and Wayne Lumley, and a sister Linda Lumley. She was employed as a aid for Shamrock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Judd passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Emanuel County Medical Center in Swainsboro. Mrs. Judd is survived by her adopted parents, Darrell and Mattie Holliday of Dublin, a son, Thomas J. (Anita) Judd, Jr. of Cochran, 2 daughters, Melissa Judd (James) Harvey of Swainsboro, and Kimberly Lee Judd of Cochran, 2 brothers, Bennie Franks of Tallahassee, FL, and Darrell Holliday, Jr. of Dillon, SC, 2 sisters, Verna May of Augusta, and Pam McCullough of Dublin, 11 grandchildren, Bridgett Sheree Judd, Ronald Wayne Judd, Sebastan Blake Judd, Erica Rachel Avilez, Heaven Jake Ibarra , Ashley Rakestraw Wiggins, Timothy Rakestraw, Cheyenne Elizabeth Harvey, Courtney Marie Judd, James Thomas Harvey, and Daniell Brooke Judd. And 7 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Blake Judd, T.J. Harvey, Jimmy May, Jimmy Lumley, Luke Mathis, Douglas Lumley, Jr., Darrell Holliday, Jr., and Calvin Harvey. The family will receive friends at the home of Wonnie Oliver at 496 Alton Stewart Road/East Dublin, GA 31027 and from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday evening, September 28, 2014 at the funeral home.
