David Michael Allen

David Michael Allen, I, age 74, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family. David was born June 7, 1947, in Lansing, Michigan to Harriet Crosby and Douglas Allen but his true home was wherever his family was. After serving in the United States Army, David began a 27-year dedication of long-haul trucking to which he retired from to enjoy the rest of his years in Wrightsville, Georgia with his better half Elaine. This is where the roots were laid and where he resided until he received his angel wings. David was loved by so many and will always be remembered as the jokester, politician, and "M-A-N" of the family. David will join his mother and father, Grandson Dezmon Allen, Granddaughter Ashley Klemens, brother Jim Crosby, and sister Vickie Miller in Heaven and will remain here on Earth in the spirits of his living family, wife Elaine Allen of Wrightsville, GA, Son David Allen, II (Natalie), Daughter Tina Allen both of Lawrenceburg, TN, Daughter Stacey Morrell and Daughter Christi Flannigan (Jim) both of Scott, GA, brothers Joe Crosby (Linda) of Lansing, MI, and Richard Allen (Robbie) of Colorado Springs, CO, Grandchildren Sammiiy Spence, Alex Stallworth, Leslie McNamara, Christopher Klemens, Matthew Klemens, Kayla Klemens, Cade Hall, Chase Braswell, Danielle Martin, Blake McNamara, Tyler White, Zachary Allen, Marcus Allen and his 7 great grandchildren. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life on January 15, 2022, at their residence in Wrightsville, Georgia. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of arrangements.
