David Eugene Ashley

Funeral services for Mr. David Eugene Ashley, age 52, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Brad Nowell and Pastor Ken Davidson will officiate. Mr. Ashley was born October 20, 1962 in Dublin, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Robert E. and Joan Anderson Ashley. He was veteran of the United States Army who later retired from the Air Force Reserves with over 20 years of service. He also was retired from Robins Air Force Base as a sheet metal mechanic. Mr. Ashley passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015. He is survived by his son, Jon-David (Morgan) Ashley of Rentz, a daughter, Rachel Dawn (Joseph) Glover of El Paso, TX, a sister, Linda Jane Brown of Dudley, six grandchildren, Alexis Glover, Caden Glover, Cameron Glover, Chase Glover, McKinley Ashley and Keagan Ashley, an uncle, James W. (Jean) Ashley of Rentz, a nephew Robert Lee Brown, Jr. of Lavonia and a cousin, James Steven Ashley of Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Steve Ashley, Darren Horne, Lee Brown, Jerry Warren, Harold Rutherford and Scott Gaillard. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
