David Bertram

A memorial service for Mr. David William Bertram, age 71, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel with Rev. Donnie Baker officiating. Mr. Bertram was born July 25, 1944 in Columbus, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late James David Bertram and Grace Elizabeth Lee Bertram and a brother, Ricky Bertram. He was employed by and was an avid supporter of the Dublin-Laurens County Recreation Authority and was a member of Poplar Springs North Baptist Church. Mr. Bertram passed away February 24, 2016. He is survived by his nieces, Danielle Bertram of Dudley, Kerri (Luke) Daniel of Dudley, Melanie (Ryan) Emory of Macon, Michelle (Scott) Mathews of Sylvester, Denise (Don) Dowdy of Columbus, his nephew, Jamie (Jenny) Bertram of Leesburg, a brother, Mike (Robbie) Bertram of Albany and a sister, Joy (Billy) Daniels of Columbus. In lieu of flowers, the family asks, that donations, in memory of David, be made to the Dublin-Laurens County Recreation Authority, Southern Pines Foundation, P.O. Box 689, Dublin, Georgia 31040.
