Deborah K. Feathers

Deborah "Debbie" Feathers, 71, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at her home after an extensive illness.

Ms. Feathers was born on February 5, 1951, in Johnson City, TN to the late Robert and Helen Feathers. She was a graduate of Boone's Creek High School in Jonesboro, TN; East Tennessee University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing; and the Medical College of Georgia with a masters degree in Nursing Administration. She retired from the Dublin VA Medical Center as Nursing Supervisor and Assistant Director of Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia. She was a Christian and avid animal advocate.

She is survived by her aunt Lorena Feathers Hagy of Gray, TN; uncle Fred L. Feathers of Kingsport, TN; and several cousins.

A private service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Be at Peace Farms, LLC, 1318 Jeffry Dr, Dublin, GA 31021 to benefit local animals or donate to your favorite animal rescue charity in her honor.
