Debra Cox Shepard

Funeral services for Debra Cox Shepard, age 64, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Gethsemane United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Veal officiating. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery.

Mrs. Shepard was born on December 31, 1958, in Dublin, Georgia. She was a member of the Gethsemane United Methodist Church and was a member of the United Methodist Women's Club. She formerly worked for Rockwell Automation as a repair technician. She was preceded in death her father, Eugene Cox, and infant daughter, Jamie Anna Shepard. Mrs. Shepard passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at her residence.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Tommy Shepard of East Dublin; mother, Carolyn Cox; daughter, Genea Shepard Phillips (Jody) of East Dublin; son, Ben Shepard (Jenifer) of Dublin; brother, Jimmy Cox (Sandy) of Dublin; and 6 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M to 10:45 A.M. on Tuesday at the church prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Matt Haworth, Thomas Cox, Shawn Lumley, Pat Padgett, Johnny Popovich and Charlie Cox.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
