Debra Kay Spivey

Graveside services for Debra Kay Spivey, age 64, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 27, 2023, at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Matt Reese officiating.

Mrs. Spivey was born on January 28, 1959, in Dublin, Georgia. She worked for many years at Hawkins Cleaners and was a member of East Dublin Assembly of God. She loved working in the yard, tending to the flower garden, and watching the hummingbirds. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Myrlene Grimes Oglesby. Mrs. Spivey passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Fairview Park Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Spivey of East Dublin; 2 sons, Brian Spivey (Ashley) of Buena Vista and Matt Spivey of East Dublin; siblings, Billy Oglesby (Barbara) and Kathy Kight (Larry) all of Dublin; and 5 grandchildren, Wyatt Jones, Chandler Spivey, Landon Spivey, Logan Spivey, and Madisyn Spivey.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
