Memorial services for Delacey Roger Smith, age 71 were held on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory. Mr. Thurmon Foskey officiated. Mr. Smith was born on April 27, 1944 in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Albert Charlton and Ethel Scarborough Smith. He was preceded in death by his 10 siblings. He was a retired construction worker. Mr. Smith passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Smith was survived by his daughter, Cammi (Aaron) Smith of Pinehurst, NC, 3 sisters, Letha Fennell of Dublin, Mattie Williams of Dublin, and Bettty Jean Howell of TN, 2 grandchildren, Ellie Smith and Phoenix Smith of Pinehurst, NC, and several nieces and nephews Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel had charge of funeral arrangements.
