Donald James Cenkner

Graveside funeral services for Donald James Cenkner, age 81, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Cenkner was born on November 11, 1939 in Monessen, Pennsylvania. He was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force and worked in the City of Dublin Engineering Department. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dorothy Cenkner, grandson Jonnathon Cenkner and his stepdaughter Sherry Kight. Mr. Cenkner passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Serenity Place. He will be remembered as a sweet and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Mr. Cenkner is survived by his wife Dorothy Faye Cenkner, sons David James Cenkner and Paul Ray Cenkner, daughter Leann Barnwell, stepson Davy Kight, brother Thomas Chadwick, sister Arlene Bryler, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
