Donald Fordham

Graveside services for Donald Russell Fordham, age 92, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Wayne McDaniel will officiate.

Mr. Fordham was born on October 30, 1933, in Dublin, Georgia. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired farm equipment salesman with Lovett and Tharpe. In his younger days Don enjoyed spending time on the Oconee River. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and singing songs that he had written. He knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and prayed for his family daily. (John 14:1) He was a pleasure to be around and will be missed greatly. My cup runneth over with blessings. (Psalm 37:4 and 1 Thessalonians 4:11) Don had a deep love for family and was delighted in seeing his great grandchildren play. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard Russell Fordham and Cleo Blizzard Fordham; his wife Juanita Ussery Fordham; granddaughter Amber Forham; and brothers Harold Fordham and Edwin Fordham. Don passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at his residence.

He is survived by his two sons Donald R. Fordham, Jr. (Wendy) of Cadwell and Richard L. Fordham (Fran) of Dublin; three grandchildren Trey Fordham (Lindsay), Rachel Gay (Tyler) and Tiffany Alderman (Avery); and five great grandchildren.
