Graveside funeral services for Donnie Jackson, age 68 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Marie Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Robert Rogers will officiate. Mr. Jackson was born on January 25, 1949 in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Golden and Lillie Pearl Mathis Jackson. He served in the United States Army during, Vietnam War. He was a retired Auditor for the Georgia Department of Corrections. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Jackson passed away on Tuesday, October 03, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Brenda Hall Jackson of Dublin, 2 sons, Joey Keith (Robin Nichole) Jackson of Dublin, and Michael Donnie (Michelle Wilkes) Jackson of Dublin, a sister Mary Seal Hightower of Dublin, and 5 grandchildren, Kaleigh Mikal Jackson, Kamden Wilkes Jackson, Dawson Nicholas Perry, Kaden Chase Passmore, and Teegon Carlyn Passmore. Pallbearers will be Johnny Hall, William Hall, Dennis Hobbs, Ricky Moore, Jimmy Graham, Robbie Hodges, and Jimmy Wynn. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
