Donnie Lampp

Funeral services for Mr. Donnie Bishop Lampp, age 58, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Andy Brownley will officiate. Mr. Lampp was born May 16, 1958 in Dublin, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late James Franklin Lampp and Ethelene Foskey Hannah, a sister, Bonnie Lampp and a brother, Marvin Lampp. He was a Desert Storm veteran having served with the Army National Guard. He was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church and the Cedar Grove Volunteer Fire Department. He was employed as a guard at Dodge State Prison and also with the maintenance department of the Laurens County School System. Mr. Lampp passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Evonne D. Lampp of Dublin, four sons, Daniel Christopher (Stephanie) Lampp of Rentz, Timothy Adam (Trina) Lampp of Eastman, Jonathan Mark Lampp and Joshua Matthew Lampp both of Cedar Grove, a daughter, Erin Renee (Justin) Howard of Dublin, a sister, Brenda Lampp of Dublin and three grandchildren, Danilynn Lampp, Ansley Lampp and Haley Morgan Howard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the funeral home. The family may also be contacted at the residence of Daniel & Stephanie Lampp, 1043 Ralph Mullis Road, Rentz, Georgia 31075. The Honor Guard of the Laurens County Fire Department will serve as pallbearers. The Cedar Grove Fire Station #14 will serve as honorary pallbearers. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
