Dorothy Green

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Evelyn Green, age 69, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Bethsaida Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Gregg Soles will officiate. Mrs. Green was born October 4, 1944 in Dublin, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Albert & O'Rita Toole Smith, a brother, Wilbur Smith and 4 sisters, Lois Dubois, Shirley Killingsworth, Linda Culver and Gwen Smith. She was retired from Rockwell Automation and was a member of Christ Chapel. Mrs. Green passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Blanton (Mann) Green, two sons, Randall (Sandy) Green and Ronnie (Renee) Green all of Dublin, two daughters, Teresa (Norman) Bacon of Callahan, FL and Lisa (Scott) Mullis of Dexter, three brothers, Raymond (Faye) Smith of Eatonton, Leonard Smith of Dublin and Arthur Smith of Macon,, six sisters, Sandra Dee Middlebrooks of Byron, Gayle Davis of Gray, Rita Faye Griffin of Gray, Patsy Joiner of Rockledge, Qwen Willis of Macon and Brenda Kay Howard of Macon, nine grandchildren, Candice Beck, Thomas Collins, Blake Green, Brandon Green, Matthew Green, Tyler Green, Sean Luke Green, Brittany Mullis and Bethany Mullis and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, July 18, 2014 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Eddie Beck, Jimmy (Jimbo) Griffin, Eric Payne, Randy Shepherd, Wayne Shepherd and Brian Wynn. Her co-workers from Rockwell Automation will serve as honorary escorts. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions, in memory of Mrs. Green, be made to Christ Chapel, P.O. Box 307, Dublin, Georgia 31040 Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
