Dorsey Beasley, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Dorsey Beasley, Jr., age 80, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday. November 28, 2014 at the Richard N. Stanley Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. George Grimes will officiate. Mr. Beasley was born May 9, 1934 in Apopka, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Dorsey Beasley, Sr. and Elizabeth Durden Beasley. He was retired as a heavy equipment operator from Johnson County Road Department. Mr. Beasley passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Serenity Place. He is survived by his wife, Judy Beasley of Kite, two sons, William Crenshaw of Waco, Texas and Joe Crenshaw of Scott, four daughters, Lynn (David) Johnson of Adrian, Nadine (Dave) Hensley of Adrian, Marie Hall of Lumberton, Texas, Mary (Bud) White of Fairbanks, Alaska and Marie Crenshaw of Fairbanks, Alaska, three grandchildren, Jason (Jessica) Durden of Soperton, Robbie Johnson of Rockledge and Nicole (Daniel) Redding of Atlanta, five great-grandchildren and 11 step-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 27, 2014 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Scott Englebert, Steve Englebert, George Harris, Walter Price, Lynn Johnson and Jason Durden. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
