Duane Edward Orr

Funeral services for Duane Edward Orr, age 60, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Burton Dixon will officiate. Mr. Orr was born on October 10, 1961 in Del Rio, Texas. He worked for over 20 years in construction as a certified welder and was a member of the Dublin Moose Lodge. He loved classic cars and fishing on the lake. He was preceded in death by his father, James Orr, his sister, Marian Bray, and his beloved dog, Tootie. Mr. Orr passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 in Fairview Park Hospital. He is survived by his mother, Mary Orr of East Dublin, and son, Duane Edward Orr II of Dublin. Pallbearers will be Keith Roberts, Jeff Haywood, Chuck Fordham, Tom Chanley, Frank Williams and Jeff Moore. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
