Funeral services for Dylan McCauley Harrison, age 26, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 15, 2021, in the DuBose Porter Center, 560 Pinehill Rd, Dublin, Georgia. Rev. Dewayne Gibson, Rev. A.J. Wright and Rev. Keith Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Harrison was born on April 4, 1995, in Macon, Georgia. He graduated from West Laurens High School Class of 2013, and attended Middle Georgia College, Oconee Fall Line Technical College, and Southeastern Technical College, where he received his certification in Electrical Fundamentals. Dylan was a volunteer with Dudley Fire Department and Laurens County Station 10. Previously, he worked as a full-time firefighter at Southside Fire Department on Wilmington Island before working as a 911 operator for Laurens County 911. He then went on to mandate school at GPSTC. He previously worked as a part-time police officer with Middle Georgia College, the City of Cochran, East Dublin Police Department and had just started part-time on Friday with the Alamo City Police Department. He was currently a full-time narcotics agent with Oconee Drug Task Force Agency. He was a certified Emergency Medical Technician, member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Police Benevolent Association. He was a member of Dudley United Methodist Church. He passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, in Meadows Regional Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Heather Milks Harrison of Dublin, son, Brody Cash Harrison of Dublin, parents, Jeff and Kathy Cauley Harrison of Dudley, brother, David (Kayla) Harrison of Dublin, nephew, Walker Drake Harrison of Dublin, maternal grandparents, Lois White Cauley of Dudley and the late Otha Cauley, paternal grandparents, Wayne and Audrey Harrison of Dudley, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Greg and Lisa Dixon Milks of Dublin, brother-in-law, Hunter (Kristina) Milks of Montrose, uncles and aunts, Joel and Sandi Harrison, of Rentz, Sherry Cauley Smith of Dudley, Dwayne Smith of Cadwell, Michele Cauley (Paul) Ivey of Columbus, Michael (Amie) Cauley of Dudley, Jeff (Tammy) Milks of Rentz, Allison (Keith) Carr of Cadwell, Mike (Deede) Milks of Waynesboro, Paula (Jay) Gibbons of Rentz, Cathy (Peter) Wenninger of Mechanicsville, VA, Vicki (Alan) Gay of Cadwell, and Clay (Vickie) Dixon of Dublin, cousins, Erin Smith (Josh) Raley and child Audrey Rose Raley of Danville, Holly Smith (Alex) Garnto and child Holden Garnto of Dudley, Victoria Smith of Dudley, Jack Ivey of Columbus, Ben Ivey of Columbus, Gabriel Cauley of Dudley, and Margaret Cauley of Dudley, grandparents-in-law, Lissa Judd Milks of Dublin and the late Buddy Milks, Evelyn Mobley of Dublin, Rosalie Dixon of Dublin and the late Buford Dixon, and his beloved pets, Sadie, Dixie, and Delta. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel. Pallbearers will be Coley Brantley, Grayson McElveen, Blake "Okie" Bracewell, Kyle Turner, Michael Thomas, Evan Green, Jahmal Blash, Demetrius Green, Cornelius Green, Colby Jackson, Ryan Mullis, Ben Watson, Robert Gibson and members of the Oconee Drug Task Force: Commander Trey Williams, Agent Steven Cady, Agent Dylan Warren, Agent David Boatright, and Agent Jeff Deal.
