Earnest Francis, Sr.

Funeral services for Earnest Francis, Sr., age 71 will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow Graham Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. Rev. Cole Morris and Rev. Brent Redfurn. Mr. Francis was born June 28, 1947 in Hazlehurst, Georgia. He was the son of the late Emory and Ada Walls Francis. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Ann Faulk Francis. He was a member of Cadwell Baptist Church. He was a retired mechanic from Dublin Tire Company. Mr. Francis passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at Serenity Place. Mr. Francis is survived by his 5 children, Peanut (Jessica) Francis, of Dublin, Dump (Maranda) Francis of Dublin, Matt (Brandi) Francis of Dublin, Jason Francis of Dublin, and Becky (John) Harrison of St. Augustine, FL, 2 sisters, Polly Rix of Glenwood, and Betty Lee Gillis of East Dublin, 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Peewee Francis, Joe Strand, Jason Reynolds, Steven Nobels, Billy Francis, and Emory Francis. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Owens and Corey Wood. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday, June 17, 2019 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
