E.B. Bracewell

Funeral services for Mr. E.B. Bracewell, age 92 will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 12, 2014 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Bracewell Family Cemetery. Rev. Nolan McDaniel and Rev. Greg Lowery will officiate. Mr. Bracewell was born on October 26, 1921 and is a native of Laurens County, Georgia. He was the son of the late John Thomas and Celia Wynn Bracewell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marie Fordham Bracewell. He was retired from J.P. Stevens and Company. He was a retired farmer. He served in the United States Army during WWII. Mr. Bracewell passed away on Wednesday July 9, 2014 at Summer Willow James Place. Mr. Bracewell is survived by his son, Jeff (Jeannette) Bracewell of Dublin, 2 daughters, Brenda (Jimmy) Butler of Cadwell, and Charlotte (Roger) Hatcher of Dublin, 6 grandchildren, Tammy (Dwayne) Gibson, Tracy (Kristi) Butler, Holly (Rusty) Brown, Jessica (Matt Belflower) Stewart, Jena (Troy) Turfler, and Misty (Maury) Beasley, and 9 great grandchildren, Robert Gibson, Cameron Gibson, Kaci Butler, Ashlyn Brown, Rylan Brown, Gaybrielle Turfler, Gavin Turfler, Braceton Beasley, and Braelee Beasley. Pallbearers will be Randall Mathis, Tracy Butler, Maury Beasley, Troy Turfler, Dwayne Gibson, and Billy Mathis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 11, 2014 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
