Eddie Jack Adams

Funeral services for Eddie Jack Adams, age 71, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 10, 2024, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory.

Mr. Adams was born on December 1, 1952, in Dublin, Georgia. He was a hardworking lifelong farmer and was a track foreman for Norfolk Southern for nearly 30 years. He was a loving husband and father but loved being a grandfather most. He is preceded in death by his parents David Wade Adams and Evelyn Payne Evans; and 2 brothers, Joe Adams and Emory Adams. Mr. Adams passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Doctor's Hospital of Augusta.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Morris Adams; 3 children, Amy Kennedy Bass, Victor Adams (Ann), and Laura Adams (William Tapley); 2 brothers, Ronnie Adams and Greg Adams (Denise); 2 sisters, Sharon Greene and Denise Mullis (Donnie), 5 grandchildren, Hunter Bass, Maitland Bass, Cory Adams, Tristen Adams, and Cale Adams; and 2 great grandchildren, Beau Bass and Coy Adams.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 2:45 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of the funeral arrangements.
