Edward "Tony" Anthony Hasty

Funeral services for Edward "Tony" Anthony Hasty, age 69, were held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with interment following at Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. Rev. Leon Garren officiated. Mr. Hasty was born on February 14, 1947 in Marietta, Georgia. He was the son of the late Harold Edward and Kathrine Moody Hasty. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary K. Jones Hasty. He was retired as a Sgt. Corrections Officer for the State of Georgia. He was a member of Marie Baptist Church. He was a member of the Peace Officers Association of Georgia. Mr. Hasty passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016. Mr. Hasty is survived by his two sons, Matt (Angie) Hasty of East Dublin, and Steven (Courtney)Hasty of Dublin, a daughter, Ginger (Sam) Graham of East Dublin, a step-son, Shane (Christina) McGowan, companion, Glenda Hasty, two brothers, Perry Hasty of Dublin and Larry Hasty of Dublin and 10 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Darren Barwick, Jacob Barwick, Kipp Barwick, Dameon Hasty, Kody Welch, and Logan Soles. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel had charge of funeral arrangements.
