Edwin Alton Rowland

Funeral services for Edwin Alton Rowland, age 75, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 1, 2024, at East Dublin Dayspring Worship Center with a private burial to follow in the Rowland Family Cemetery. Rev. Kenny Rowland will officiate.

Mr. Rowland was born on December 10, 1948, in Dublin, Georgia to the late Clifford Hines and Josie Lou Wynn Rowland. He was a retired civil service supervisor with Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Rowland passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Queen Rowland; two sons, Keith Rowland (Anne) and Kenny Rowland (Kim); daughter, Donna Thublin (Stephen); sister, Fay Price; 5 grandchildren, Chris Rowland, Hunter Rowland, Tyler Rowland, Julia Malone, and Madison Rowland; and 4 great grandchildren, Emma Rowland, Annaleigh Rowland, Cason Malone, and Lawson Malone.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. on Monday at the church prior to the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Rowland to Gideons International at P.O. Box 27, Dublin, GA 31040.
