Effie Jane Snow

Ms. Effie Jane Snow, age 92, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Piedmont Macon North Hospital.

Ms. Snow was born on November 24, 1933, in Ohatchee, Alabama. Ms. Effie worked for 17 years with Polk County School System in Florida before moving to Wrightsville. She was a member of Legacy Center Church in Tennille. She enjoyed cooking for the family, gardening, and just being outside. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Minnie Haney Phillips; husband, Charlie Snow, Jr.; daughter, Wanda Zalone; son, Dan Snow; 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. 

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Ray) Price of Wrightsville, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.
