Elaine Fern Allen

Elaine Fern Allen, age 71 of Wrightsville, Georgia gained her angel wings peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Born March 15, 1954, in Dowagiac, Michigan to Jeannette Ruth McGuire and Leslie Jay Clark. After years of moving around, Elaine settled in Orlando, Florida where she ran a school kitchen for 10 years. After suffering a stroke, Elaine learned to drive 18 wheelers and while driving cross country, Elaine met her soul mate, and eventually made a permanent home in Wrightsville, Georgia in 2008.

Elaine is now sipping coffee in Heaven with those who got there before her including her beloved husband, David Allen, grandson, Matthew Klemens, granddaughter, Ashley Klemens, sisters, Pat Hill and Kathy Webb, and brother, Bud Armentrout.

While the reunion in Heaven is going to be one for the books, Elaines surviving family here on earth, includes daughters, Stacey Morrell of Wrightsville, Christi Flannigan of Milledgeville, grandchildren, Leslie Brantley (Eddie), Christopher Klemens (Danielle) both of Wrightsville, Kayla Klemens, and Samantha Stallworth (Kristofer) of Florida, great-grandchildren, Elaina McNamara, Noah Klemens, Ruby Griffey, Tyler Brantley, Matt Brantley, and Shaun Brantley, and also her best friend, and dog, Little Man. We will continue to keep her memories and love alive daily. The family will gather at the Allen residence at a later date for the celebratory spreading of Elaine's ashes under the family's memorial tree on the property.
