Elizabeth Killingsworth Herringdine

October 1, 1924 — January 17, 2018

Funeral services Mrs. Elizabeth Killingsworth Herringdine, age 93, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the First Christian Church with burial to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Roger Holley and Rev. Tony Crane will officiate. Mrs. Herringdine was born October 1, 1924 in Johnson County, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her first husband, Snell Killingsworth, her second husband, William Cecil Herringdine, a son, Andrew L. Killingsworth, a granddaughter, Amanda K. Lovett and two brothers, Truett Perry and Herbert Perry. She was a member of the First Christian Church and she had an unwavering faith in her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was a former Johnson County Woman of the Year and was a volunteer at Fairview Park Hospital Auxiliary and Wrightsville Manor. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose love and legacy will live on in her family. She was guided through life by the love of her Lord and her love for her family and her friends was apparent to all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Kay (Eric) Jones of Dublin, her son, Doug (Debbie) Killingsworth, three grandchildren, Grant (Teresa) Wilbanks, Betsy (Scott) Remington, and Will (Kaitlyn) Killingsworth, a great-grandchild, Audrey Grace Killingsworth, a brother, Billy Perry of Macon and four sisters, Sara Martin of Wrightsville, Margaret Crawford of Wrightsville, Shirley Rowland of Warner Robins and Jean House of San Antonio. The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service at the church. The family would like to offer sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff of Pruitt Health Hospice and the staff of the Greenwood Place for all the love and care they have shown and provided to Lib. For those wishing to make a contribution, in memory of Lib, the family asks that donations be made to the First Christian Church, PO Box 228, Wrightsville, Georgia 31096. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
