Graveside funeral services for Elizabeth "Betty" Veal Wyatt, age 91, will held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 2, 2021, in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Hutto will officiate.
Mrs. Wyatt was born on May 1, 1930, in Dublin, Georgia. She was a retired secretary at Moore Street School, and a member of Marie Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school to 4 - 5 year old children for many years. She loved reading her bible daily. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel L. Veal, Sr. and Janie Veal, brothers, S.L. Veal, Jr., Earl Veal, Bill Veal, and Virgil Veal, sisters, Annie Jackson, and Mary Jane Radney, her husband, James J. Wyatt, Jr., and son, Jim Wyatt. Mrs. Wyatt passed away Friday, July 30, 2021, at her residence.
Mrs. Wyatt is survived by her 2 sons, Randy Wyatt of Dublin, and Bobby Wyatt (Paula) of Dublin, 1 daughter, Beth Bozeman (Eddie) of Dublin, and daughter in law, Martha Wyatt of Dublin, 9 grandchildren, Jamie Kirkman (Nathan), John Wyatt, Andy Bozeman (Christy), Ben (Meghan Wilkins) Bozeman, Sarabeth Bozeman, Lauren David (Josh), Chad Wyatt (Emily), Adam Wyatt, and Cole Wyatt, 10 great grandchildren, Skyler Diacou, Phoenix Diacou, Rhett Bozeman, Caleb Bozeman, Luke Bozeman, Addison David, Porter David, Pierce David, Thom Wyatt and Zoe Wyatt, special friends, Lynn and Randy Rountree, Coyt Rountree, and Morgan Maine, special care-giver, Jeanese Rose, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, August 1, 2021, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mrs. Wyatt to Marie Baptist Church at 315 Marie Church Road, Dublin, Georgia 31021.
