He was a long contributor to the ASPCA (American Society for Protection of Animals). He is preceded in death by his parents Emmett Joshua Wilkinson and Mary Lee Harrison Wilkinson, and daughter Virginia Allison "Jenny" Wilkinson Bryant. Mr. Wilkinson passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 in Serenity Place Hospice.
Mr. Wilkinson is survived by his wife Joyce Price Wilkinson of Dublin, daughter Mary Katherine Wilkinson (Mike) Pitts of Caryville, FL, brother Kenneth Wilkinson of Niantic, CT, Pat Wilkinson of North Little Rock, Ark, sister Betty Wilkinson Keslick of New Orleans, LA, and 4 grandchildren Blaketon "Blake" Bethea, Christopher Roberts, Michael Bryant, and Caleb Bryant.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Monday, June 1, 2020 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Blake Bethea, Mike Pitts, Andy Clarke and Mike Gibbs.
Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Roberts, Pat Wilkinson, Kenneth Wilkinson, Billy Keslick, and Donald Clarke.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA Organization and/or Serenity Place Hospice. Flowers will be accepted from family and friends, as magnolia blossoms with red or blue accents were Jim's favorite.
