Eunice Elizabeth Franklin

Eunice Elizabeth Franklin, age 91, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Serenity Hospice in Dublin, Georgia. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Pine Crest Cemetery in Vidalia, Georgia. Rev. Jason Howell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00PM Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Eunice Franklin was born in Russellville, Alabama on February 3, 1926. She was a retired seamstress with Hazlehurst Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Franklin, by sons, Dwight Franklin, Dewayne Franklin, and Randall Franklin, by her father, William Franklin Sims, and by her mother, Margaret Elizabeth Pennington. Survivors include her son, Rick Franklin of Dublin and daughters Betty Kea of Dublin, Wanda (Robert) Wallace of Iron City, TN, Carolyn Dollins of Holcomb, MO, Joan Howell of Dothan, AL, and Anita Krueger of Dublin, and by 21 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 26 great great grandchildren. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
