Eva Tanner

Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Tanner, age 73, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Richard N. Stanley Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Oaky Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. James Tanner will officiate. Mrs. Tanner was born June 15, 1944 in Johnson County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her mother, the late Mary Ellen Tanner Mixon. She was a graduate of Wrightsville High School and was a member of Nails Creek Baptist Church. She was formerly employed at Easy Mills but for the past few years she worked as a care giver for many in the community. As a care giver, she gave so much of herself. She not only treated her patients with love and compassion, her responsiveness to their needs was unparalleled. Mrs. Tanner passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 t her home. She is survived by numerous cousins, all of who she was very close to. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until funeral hour, Wednesday November 22, 2017 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
