Evan Jack Hughes

Funeral services for Evan Jack Hughes, 31, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 31, 2022, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in Westview Cemetery, Soperton, Georgia. Rev. Buck Benton will officiate. Mr. Hughes was born September 8, 1990, in Dublin, Georgia and was employed with Robins Airforce Base as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Wayne Hughes and maternal grandmother Barbara Andrews. Mr. Hughes passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Fairview Park Hospital. He is survived by his mother Robin Harwell of Dublin, his father Jack (Michele) Hughes of Dublin, brother Brian (Adrienne) Hughes of Charleston, SC, grandmother Joyce Hughes of Soperton, stepbrothers Jake (Cassidy) Branch of Lizella and Josh (Stevie Rae) Branch of Dublin, aunt Mechelle (Brian) Foskey of Soperton, and cousins Elizabeth (Will) Adams of Mt. Vernon and Ben Foskey of Soperton. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
