Evelyn Boatright Lord

Funeral services for Evelyn Boatright Lord, 94, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 23, 2022, at Union Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Baker and. Rev. Chad Drew officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery.

Ms. Lord was born on May 28, 1928, in Swainsboro, Georgia to James and Louella Jones Boatright. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Ralph Lord, son Allen Lord, daughter in law Brenda Lord, brother Billy Boatright, and sisters Faye Brantley and Jeanette Miller. Ms. Lord passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Madison Heights of Evans Assisted Living.

Ms. Lord is survived by her son Anthony Lord (Pam) of Wrightsville, daughter Marsha Lord Warner (John) of Grovetown, brothers Glynn Boatright (Lillian) of Dublin and Phillip Boatright (Jennie) of Wrightsville, sisters Thelma Williams and Betty Coleman both of Augusta, and Vinnie Lou McNure of Wrightsville, sister-in-law Joy Boatright of Pembroke, grandchildren Neil Lord (Wendy), Shae Keyton (Shane), Lori Couey, Tabatha White (Craig) and Samantha Sinha (Atul), great grandchildren Brittany Oliver (Will), Kala Wombles (Chad), Mitchell Lord, Taylor Couey, Savannah Couey, Spencer Couey, Allie White, Ambree White, Shaun Sinha, Simran Sinha and Jay Sinha, and great-great grandchildren Sophia Couey and Parker Brown.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 23, 2022, from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. at the church prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Neil Lord, Atul Sinha, Spencer Couey, Phil Boatright, Will Oliver and Bobby Miller.
