Fay Mccoy Bush

Graveside funeral services for Fay McCoy Bush, age 79 were held private 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 5, 2018 at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Barron Powell will officiate. Mrs. Bush was born July 22, 1939 in Sandersville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mamie-Dee McCoy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Bush, and by her daughter, Libby Dowdy. She was a homemaker. She worked at Oxford Manufacturing, Mohawk Carpet, Kmart, Woolworths, and Wool CO. Mrs. Bush passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 peacefully at home. Mrs. Bush was survived by her children, Ricky (Dee) Kight of Dublin, Wilson (Chanelle) Bush of Dublin, and Jackie Price of Dublin, stepchildren, Hugh (Michelle) Kight of Dublin, Kenny Kight of Dublin, Randy Kight of Dublin, Peggy Lyles of Dublin, and Yvonne Kight (Larry) Boyd of Dublin, a brother, Charles (Christine) McCoy of Sandersville, a sister, Carolyn McCoy of Milledgeville, and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made in memory of Mrs. Bush to Serenity Hospice at 504 Parker Dairy Road, Dublin, Georgia 31021. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel had charge of funeral arrangements.
