Funeral services for Mrs. Faye Brantley, age 72, will be held at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Liberty Grove Baptist Church with interment to follow at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Sammy Hall and Dr. Tom Akins will officiate.
Mrs. Brantley was born April 15, 1943 in Swainsboro, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Grady Brantley and her parents, James O. and Louella Jones Boatright. She was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church and before her health declined, she was an active member of the Johnson County Senior Citizens Center. Mrs. Brantley passed away March 18, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness.
She is survived by her children, Tommy (Niki) Brantley of Wrightsville, Eddie (Ginger) Brantley of Swainsboro, Teresa (Mark) Tanton of Wrightsville and Glenda Keen of Swainsboro, three brothers, Billy Boatright of Pembroke, Glenn Boatright of Dublin and Phillip Boatright of Wrightsville, five sisters, Evelyn Lord of Wrightsville, Thelma Williams of Augusta, Jennette Miller of North Augusta, Betty Coleman of De Funiak Springs, FL and Vinnie Lou McNure of Wrightsville, 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 21, 2016 at the funeral home.
