Faye G. Foskey

Funeral services for Faye Godfrey Foskey, age 74, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, March 9, 2026, in the Richard N. Stanley, Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory in Wrightsville, Georgia, with burial to follow at Bay Springs Cemetery in Tennille. Rev. Rick Tooley and Rev. Gary Yonce will officiate.

Born on September 25, 1951, in Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Foskey was raised in Oconee, where she made her home for many years. She was a devoted homemaker and a member of Oconee Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cutie and Martha Smart Godfrey; infant daughter, Brenda Foskey; two brothers, Marvin Godfrey and Jewell Godfrey; and sister, Sue Godfrey. Mrs. Foskey passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at her residence.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Troy Foskey of Oconee; three daughters, Stacey Foskey of Oconee, Terri Calvert (Steve) of Dublin and Michelle Foskey of Scott; two sons, Michael Foskey and Jason Foskey of Wrightsville; stepson, Delaney Powell (Wanda) of Pembroke Pines, FL; two sisters, Margaret Cooper (Marvin) of Wrightsville and Dorothy Godfrey of East Dublin; two brothers, Robert Godfrey of Oconee and Wayne Godfrey (Rita) of Harrison; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Oconee Church of God, P.O. Box 37, Oconee, GA 31067 or Antioch Christian Church Ladies Council, c/o Virginia Sheppard, 5055 Hwy 272, Tennille, GA 31089.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Hasty, Justin Hasty, Nicholas Hasty, Tyler Foskey, Chris Cooper, Matt Cooper and Keith Foskey.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel.
